Nottingham Forest at Tottenham in FA Cup

I think this will be a clear home win for Tottenham. The signing of Mido has added to an already good attack and I think Spurs will just pound Nottingham Forest. Tottenham are in good form and are taking the FA Cup very seriously and I think they can go quite a ways in this competition. Keane, Dafoe, Kanoute and the above mentioned Mido make this a pretty exciting team.

Nottingham Forest are in relegation danger and I just don't see them having full focus here with their League being more important. Their regular goalkeeper will be out for this match and they will have to rely on a teenager for their trip to White Hart Lane. They have not won a road match in their league and have a minus 15 goal differential in those league road matches. I think Tottenham puts up at least three goals here and comes away with a solid win at home.

FT 1-1

Nottingham was unlucky not to win. You were right about the Nottingham goaltender though as he gifted the Tottenham their goal. I suspect alot of people lost money on this one.

I put the mush on Tottenham as I do any team I bet on. I've got guys I work with that have opened up offshore accounts and started fading me. They couldn't name one played besides David Beckham but they don't care. All they want to know is who I like. I'm talking about guys that bet ten dollars on an NFL parlay card and they're betting nickels and dimes against my plays. When I told them yesterday that I liked Tottenham a lot, there were a dozen guys running outside to get on their cell phones and call their bets in. In the past week, my plays have gotten someone's daughter a car, paid for a new floor, a trip to Maui and a cruise to the Bahamas.

One of my friends wives works in a pharmacy and she set aside a flu shot for me. I asked my friend why and he said so I don't catch the flu that's going around. He doesn't want me sick because the bill for his daughter's semester tuition is coming up and he needs my picks to pay for it.

I love, not like, two games in the Champion's League on Tuesday. I'll have the write ups tonight. Head to the window and make your plays. It's like free money going against my plays.

i keep a close eye on english soccer and can not fault your original pick. i have seen nothing this year that suggested Nottingham would be capable of this result.

Like you said all the stats pointed to an easy win for the tottenham but in these one off cup games sometimes lower teams play above their league form which is what happened today. i doubt it is any consolation but i think many people have lost money on this result today.

despite what you say i look forward to your champions league picks. after looking at the fixtures there are some mouthwatering clashes this week. in my opinion the later stages of the champions league is soccer at its best with the best players and biggest matches.
